Drill Blocks for Dumpling Squishy Drill Calculator

This calculator applies the Drill Blocks for Dumpling Squishy spend rules to your current numbers. It does not read the live shop and it does not connect to Roblox. You plug in what the client shows you, and it tells you which upgrade is the honest bottleneck right now. The logic lives in the progression planner and drill power. This tool makes the numbers do the talking instead of a thumbnail.

How to use this tool

Fill in the fields below with what the client actually shows you. Do not use numbers from a YouTube video or a screenshot from last week. The client updates; this tool does not cache your session.

Fields:

• Current cash/sec from your best placed squishy
• Next drill upgrade cost (what the shop row says, not what a tier list promises)
• Number of empty plot slots you currently have
• Whether the current wall feels sticky (seconds per block, not a feeling)

Output: the tool ranks empty-slot, drill upgrade, zone move, and rebirth in the same order the progression planner uses.

The sticky-wall test (quick version)

Stand on a face with cubes. Hold movement into it and count seconds per block break. Then decide:

• Under 2 seconds per block: wall is fast. Your bottleneck is empty pads. Skip the drill upgrade.
• 3–5 seconds per block: wall is manageable. You are approaching drill territory but not there yet.
• Over 5 seconds per block: wall is sticky. The drill upgrade is the correct spend.
• Cannot break at all: zone move or rebirth, not a drill question yet.

Cash/sec threshold for drill upgrades

A drill upgrade is worth it mathematically when:

upgrade_cost / current_cash_per_sec < minutes_before_you_leave

If your best squishy prints $100/sec and the next drill costs $50,000, you need 500 seconds (about 8 minutes) of plot income to justify the buy. If you are leaving in 3 minutes, that upgrade is not worth it for this session.

Practical rule: if the upgrade costs more than 2–3 minutes of current plot income and the wall is still breaking, fill an empty slot first. A new drill on an empty plot is a half-purchase.

Zone unlock cost estimate

Later zones often require a minimum drill power or a cash gate. If the zone is locked behind a shop button, read the price in the client. If it is locked behind drill power, use the sticky-wall test above. There is no universal “unlock at zone 3” rule; the client shows the actual gate.

Rebirth multiplier check

Before rebirth, confirm the multiplier the client promises. A typical check:

new_multiplier × current_cash_per_sec > upgrade_cost_you_just_bought

If rebirth gives a permanent 2× multiplier and your current best squishy prints $50/sec, your post-rebirth rate is $100/sec. That changes the math on every upgrade after the reset.

Common mistakes this tool prevents

• Buying a drill upgrade when empty slots are the real bottleneck
• Spending on a second common because the thumbnail looked better
• Rebirthing with a near-empty plot when the reset bonus does not justify the rebuild time
• Buying a private server gamepass before confirming the drill is the stall, not the server contention

Use the numbers the client shows. Close the tool. Go back to the wall.
